GameSpot

When I was about six I got my first Super Nintendo! I played Donkey Kong, Yoshi's World, and Super Mario for hours each day with my sister. We both thought that Super Nintendo was the best thing in the world. Now days, there are so many different video game systems and people have them all. Not only do people play video games in their house, but they are on the go too with hand held devices you can play anywhere, anytime. Games went from cartoons and created characters, to realistic looking characters.
Not everyone enjoys video games, however, there are games for everyone. They have games for children, teens, girls, boys, adults, sports-fans, and the list goes on and on. Video games can be addicting and some people play them for hours at a time, or maybe even all day long. Children are usually exposed to video games at a young age, and even if they can't always play them well, they still enjoy them.
Video games are getting more popular, and more advanced everyday. I think it is probably safe to say that almost everyone has at least one game system in their house. I know I have my "old school" Super Nintendo, a Playstation 2, and an Xbox in my apartment! Right now, I am addicted to NCAA Football, and Tiger Woods PGA Golf Tour.  I think it is amazing how advanced technology is, and how the characters in these games look incredibly realistic! So, if you haven't tried either of these games you should go buy or rent them and test them out for yourself!
I have always loved video games, they are fun to play by yourself or with friends! I suggest that if you are not a "video game fan," that you should attempt it one more time and it might change your mind!

  1. The best part about playing video games that I can think of is all the memories you have when you do it with family and friends. Everyone knows that the times you spend with family and friends is priceless so the fact that you can remember times you have spent playing video games with family and friends is wonderful. You can always remember the games that you played together and almost conquered together or in competitive games the times you were stabbed in the back either literally :) Halo Reach or figuratively. I will always remember my 1st system the Nintendo and playing the Power Pad Olympic game with my brother and thinking it was the greatest thing ever. He was called JC short for Julian Christian and since there was only 3 letters you could put in for a name Sebastian didn't fit so the nickname I have had for 22 years BC wsa created. Video games and the past that they create has and always will be a big part of my life.
